Welcome to Multiplication Mayhem! 🥳 Learning your multiplication facts needs a little MAYHEM! Learning your facts should be loud, fun, energetic and exciting! And that is exactly what we will do in Multiplication Mayhem! In this interactive and energetic 4 day class, students will learn the multiplication fact families 0-12. 4 lessons//1 Week
Week 1Lesson 1Facts 0, 1, 2, 5, 10, 11On Day 1, we will spend the first few minutes getting to know each other before we begin. Then, students will take a pre-test and I will introduce them to the Hundreds chart we will be using to track our progress. The remainder of the class time will be spent learning our 0, 1, 2, 5, 10, and 11 facts using memory games/strategies I will teach the children. We will end the class by recording our progress.Lesson 2Facts 3, 4, and 6On Day 2, we will first review our facts from Day 1. Then, the remainder of the class time will be spent learning our 3. 4. and 6 facts using memory games/ strategies I will teach the children. We will end the class by recording our progress.Lesson 3Facts 7, 8, 9 and 12On Day 3, we will first review our facts from Day 1 and 2. Then, the remainder of the class time will be spent learning the 7, 8, 9, and 12 facts using memory games/ strategies I will teach the children. We will end the class by recording our progress.Lesson 4Facts 0-12; ReviewOur final day will be spent reviewing and practicing all 144 facts with Kahoot, Quizlet, and our Memory games. Students will have fun practicing with their new found skills and confidence! We will end the day by taking the final post-test to show the children their unbelievable growth!
By the end of this course, students will significantly improve their ability to recall their facts 0-12 quickly and accurately. By the end of this course, students will have a solid grasp of their multiplication facts from 0-12.
Homework Offered
On the first day of class, a packet will be posted for the students to download. The students will need the hundreds chart worksheet included in the packet on the first day of class. Also, included in the packet will be an optional practice page to review the facts learned each day. An answer key will be provided.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
A Pre-test and Post-test will be offered to show growth. This will not be a graded assessment.Grades Offered
