Learn, practise and review the multiplication facts in the single and double-digits. This class will utilize flash cards for repetitious use for the learning of these double-digit multiplication tables. This lesson is learner-directed and not necessarily taught in sequential order. The learners will learn, practise and review their multiplication tables for numbers 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15. The lessons are learner-directed with the lesson content dependent on the learner’s level in the class at that time (class content is learner-directed).
Homework is optional and not assigned with this lesson. However, learning these multiplication tables will become easier if the learners spend 5 minutes-a-day reviewing the strategy learned in class. Lesson content is learner-directed and dependent on the student level and understanding in class at that time.
Learners may need a notebook to record any new strategies introduced in class.
Assessment is informal and ongoing.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
No outside sources are required.
I love to teach through open dialogue that creates confidence and competency.
