Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will be able to work with groups of objects to gain foundational skills in multiplication. Learners will be able to use addition to find the total number of objects by using arrays, columns, and numbers of rows.
I have a patient and calming teaching approach. My learning method is all about encouraging the learner while using positive correction. I hope to build your learner's confidence and inspire them to learn while being the best they can be. As an educator, I understand that multiplication can be challenging at times. In my class, we will learn that good practice and patience can make a huge difference in learning.
There will not be any homework assigned for this class. The teacher will provide additional feedback for practice. If students need support with their own homework please feel free to bring the material to class.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
The teacher will assess the learner through questioning and sharing responses. For example, how does the learner process their understanding of repeated addition through drawing or written expression? The teacher will provide written feedback at the end of the lesson to support the learner after the lesson is finished.
40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
