In this weekly class, we will improve our multiplication facts of 4s, 7s, and 8s by playing high-energy, quick-paced games designed to improve automaticity and fluency.
Class experience
By the end of the third grade, students are expected to be able to recall all multiplication facts (times tables) up to numbers within 100 by memory. This is a huge skill and building block for the following grades. My teaching style draws from the brain’s natural ability to learn more quickly when skills and concepts are practiced through play.
