There are many ways to solve a multiplication problem, and different students find different strategies to be most helpful. In this course, we will practice 3 common strategies: area model, partial products, and the algorithm. 1 file available upon enrollmentA one-page handout will be provided upon enrollment for the class. The handout will have an example of each strategy being used to solve a 1 digit X 2 digit, 2 digit X 3 digit, and 3 digit X 3 digit multiplication problem.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
