This is a game I created to practice times table facts. The player rolls 2 dice to determine which fact needs to be named. The player rolls 2 dice and then choses an item in the game to multiply by that number. The item is then marked as having been used. Each item can only be chosen a limited number of times, ensuring a variety of choices. The game requires each student to give times table answers. Times tables must be learned because knowing them is crucial for further success in math (namely fractions). Making a game to learn them creates fun and competition, both highly conducive to remembering. Games are way more fun than rote memorization.
2 dice for turns. If dice are unavailable the teacher can roll for the student. Please no calculators!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
