Description
Class Experience
Times tables must be learned because knowing them is crucial for further success in math (namely fractions). Making a game to learn them creates fun and competition, both highly conducive to remembering. Games are way more fun than rote memorization.
2 dice for turns. If dice are unavailable the teacher can roll for the student. Please no calculators!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
