Description
Class Experience
By the end of the lesson, students will have a better understanding of how to multiply when using multiple digits.
I have taught this skill to students both in person and through zoom tutoring. In my experience, students tend to struggle with this topic at first, but after a little extra practice they will understand the steps and be able to multiply using many digits.
Students will practice their skills during the class. Please have some paper and writing tools near by.
Students will be assessed informally, in a game at the end of the lesson. Students will keep track of their own points, and self report their points to me at the end of the class. If a parent would like a formal summary of the students learning I ask that they email me ahead of time and I will record learning and provide an emailed report within 24 hours of the class ending.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
