In these ongoing weekly classes students will learn the basic concepts of multiplication. These lessons are all Minecraft themed! Students will participate in a variety of activities each week to review the basic concepts of multiplication. In these classes students will learn what the numbers in the multiplication equations mean. You can subscribe to these weekly lessons and keep your child enrolled until you feel they have "mastered the basics". Students will ONLY review 1 digit...

In this class students will learn: The concept of the multiplication facts (0-12) What the numbers in the questions represent How to match multiplication equations to pictures Repeated Addition Multiplication as a group Multiplication as arrays Identity Property Commutative Property Finding missing numbers in multiplication equations Different Equations with the same answers Doubling/ Tripling Words that form equations *Students DO NOT memorize their facts in this class. I have another class on Outschool called (Minecraft Multiplication - Master Your Facts) if you are interested in that. : )

There is no formal assessment for this class. Students progress will be assessed throughout the lesson by answering questions out loud individually or as a group. Students knowledge of multiplication concepts can be gauged through playing the Kahoot game in class.Grades Offered

Writing tool *Anything your child thinks is fun to write with! 3. Multiplication "Cheat Sheet" * This will be sent to enrolled parents 3. Second device to play Kahoot game on (tablet, iPad, phone) * A second device is not required but encouraged.

Students in this class will be using the website Kahoot. Kahoot will be used for students to be able to submit their answers to math questions in the lesson independently. Kahoot can be accessed using the link (https://kahoot.it/). No download is needed to use Kahoot in class and it is free. Kahoot is an approved third-party website/app by Outschool.
