Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Learners will understand what multiplication is and learn the recall the facts quickly.
I have used this approach in my classroom for years. Students love to tell me they can beat their older brothers, sisters, mom, and dad.
Homework depends on the learner. They should practice each skill learned until it becomes automatic.
Paper for the book. The size of the paper is up to the learner. If they tend to write small, they can make a smaller book. The typical learner will need full-size pages to half-size pages. I love color so I would use crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Stamps or stickers about a dime or nickel size would be great for making the arrays, but not necessary. Some learners are very artistic and would prefer to draw their own pictures, but remember this takes more time.
2 hours 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
