Beginner Level
Learners should already know how to add! This class is for the beginner in multiplication. It will be taught in three days. The first day will cover the definition of multiplication. The learner will make a book of arrays and sets to show multiplication facts. They will need paper and pencil, markers, or crayons. They can use small stamps or small stickers for this. The second day will look for patterns or tricks that naturally occur in multiplication. They will add these to their books for future reference. The third day will be multiplication games that will help the learner to practice the multiplication facts. There will be games they can play by themself and with someone else.
Learning Goals
Learners will understand what multiplication is and learn the recall the facts quickly.

Supply List
Paper for the book. The size of the paper is up to the learner. If they tend to write small, they can make a smaller book. The typical learner will need full-size pages to half-size pages. I love color so I would use crayons, colored pencils, or markers. Stamps or stickers about a dime or nickel size would be great for making the arrays, but not necessary. Some learners are very artistic and would prefer to draw their own pictures, but remember this takes more time.
Language of Instruction
English
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
