Students will learn tricks and strategies for multiplication facts for the 2's, 3's and 4's. I will present one at a time. Students will copy the trick being used as well as fill in the answers for the facts being discussed. Then we will move on to the next set of multiplication facts. We will repeat this for each of the sets. Students will be able to show what they have learned by using the strategy themselves to answer more difficult problems involving that specific fact. Participation is on a voluntary basis but from experience these tricks are so cool that students can't help but participate.

Students will learn fun tips and tricks to learning the multiplication tables.

Supply List
Students should have a journal and pencil for class, two colored pens or markers if possible would help with notes. Students will have the opportunity to write on the interactive whiteboard. They are encouraged to explore this before class. Instructions will be given for those that are not familiar with this. To be able to draw or type on the screen, students need to look at the top of the screen and click on "VIEW OPTIONS" then click on "ANNOTATE".

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
