In this 2 week summer camp, students will practice their multiplication facts to build fact fluency while playing different board games inspired by Connect 4, Memory, Multiplication Bump, and your average roll & get to the finish line game!

Lesson 1
Multiplying by 2
Students will: +Skip count by 2 +Use arrays to represent multiplication equations +Discuss rules for multiplying by 0, 1, and 10 +Practice multiplying by 2 with Race to the Finish

Multiplying by 3
Students will: +Skip count by 3 +Use arrays to represent multiplication equations +Discuss rules for multiplying by 0, 1, and 10 +Practice multiplying by 3 with Connect 4 Multiplication

Multiplying by 4

  • Week 1 Day 1: Students will be able to multiply by 2. Week 1 Day 2: Students will be able to multiply by 3. Week 1 Day 3: Students will be able to multiply by 4. Week 1 Day 4: Students will be able to multiply by 5. Week 2 Day 1: Students will be able to multiply by 6. Week 2 Day 2: Students will be able to multiply by 7. Assessment
Frequency: Available upon request
Details: For parents who would like a final assessment, students will be provided with a one page worksheet of multiplication facts to solve outside of class. This can then be submitted to me for feedback.
Paper and pencil or a marker and whiteboard to show work if the learner needs it
