Class Experience

Calculators, computers, and phones are used for everything today; however, when technology fails, we need to have the strategies or actual facts that we can rely on.  This course will give students tips, tricks, strategies, and practice to be able to multiply 1 digit by 1 digit numbers with confidence. This course will help students find ways to solve multiplication facts and with continued practice, those facts can start to be placed into their long term memory.  Each week students will...

  1 file available upon enrollment1/2 inch three ring binder
small pack of 3 hole punched notebook filler paper
pencil, eraser
small whiteboard with whiteboard marker(can buy at Dollar Store, Walmart, Target)
hole punch so worksheets can be placed into binder(can probable buy at Dollar Store, Walmart, Target, Staples)
pack of notecards-your choice of color/white, lined/unlined   OR    a set of multiplication flashcards 
loose leaf rings to hold note cards together (Dollar Store, Staples, Walmart, Target)

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
