Welcome to Multiplication Practice Club! Each week students will be introduced/reintroduced to a multiplication set, learn tricks to memorize facts, and play games to solidify the knowledge. We will use kahoot, bingo, flash card games, team building activities, ispy, and more! We will practice, practice, practice these facts until they are memorized! I like to say that "Practice doesn't make perfect, practice makes permanent." This course is designed to help students memorize their multiplication facts 0 through 12. December Practice/Games: Facts 6-12 January Practice/Games: Facts 0-6 February Practice/Games: All Facts March Practice Games: Facts 0-6 April Practice/Games: Facts 6-12 In order to improve, learners must practice between class. Upon enrollment, timed test will be provided to use as AT HOME practice. We will also do timed-quizzes to check for understanding. Please bring a pencil and paper or a small whiteboard to class! We can't wait to see you! Learners can join this class at anytime. We will always practice facts 0-12, with a weekly focus on hard to learn facts. **Students should already have a basic understanding of multiplication.**

Teacher expertise and credentials
I am Brooke Kimmig and I am a certified teacher for grades K-6. I have a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Central Florida. I taught for 6 years in the public school system before deciding to stay home with my daughter. I taught all subjects in 3rd and 4th grade classrooms and for two years I focused solely on 4th grade math. As a former public school teacher, I know the standards, rigor, or skills needed to confidently move to each new grade level.
Even though math is my favorite subject to teach, I am a huge advocate for reading aloud to students! Reading aloud teaches vocabulary, sparks imagination, and creates an avenue to learn so much more. Readers are thinkers. If I could share one thing with my daughter, it would be the joy and love of reading.
I live in sunny Florida and I love the water! You might catch me by the pool or the beach with a good book!
