Students will need: - new composition book or spiral notebook of their choice - printed number chart page each day (found in the classroom & welcome email) - scissors - glue, gluestick, or tape (Scotch tape or washi) - set of rainbow-colored highlighters (these are the ones I'll be using and showing in class: - at least two felt-tipped pens (black and any other color will work - this is what I use: - sharpened pencil - separate device with an internet browser (if they're not using a computer they know how to open two windows with to do split screen on). An iPad, additional laptop, or borrowing a smartphone will work great. The last approximately 10 minutes of class will be an interactive game between students. - OPTIONAL: white out in case you make a mistake in pen in your interactive notebook
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Students will be asked to use scissors responsibly during class to cut out the rectangle of the number chart to glue in their interactive notebook.
