Class Experience

At the end of this course, students will
identify and utilize fact families to multiply and divide
examine a multiplication chart to multiply and divide
utilize multiplication and divisions skills to create equivalent fractions
I taught 3rd grade for five years and loved teaching multiplication and division and its relationship to equivalent fractions. I've used multiplication charts, fact families, rhymes, and many other tools to help my students understand math. It is my overall goal for all of my students to like math a little bit more each time we work together. Math is all over the world. It's important to know the basics!
Practice is definitely an important part of learning, but it is not required.
