Beginner Level
In this fun and engaging one time math class students will practice some of the beginning foundations of multiplication. Students will practice early multiplication concepts by using Arrays as tools to help them solve simple problems involving multiplication. As the students have fun using Minecraft themed math they will further reinforce their early multiplication skills. This class will be taught in a warm and friendly discussion setting in which the students will have opportunity to interact, discuss, and solve the math problems together as a class. Students do not need to know their multiplication facts to take this class but should know their addition to second grade level. Please note, Minecraft will not be played in this class. This class is Minecraft themed only.
Learning Goals
Students will have fun as they reinforce early multiplication math concepts with Minecraft themed arrays.

Student should bring paper and a pencil with them to class.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hello! I’m Teacher Sheila.
I’ve been teaching both children and adults for over 20 years.
I have a Bachelors Degree in education, I’m TESOL certified and I’m homeschool certified as well.
I am currently teaching English online to children in China. I also offer classes in Common Core subjects Online in the US as well.
I have home schooled all five of my children, 4 have graduated 12th grade and I’m currently working with my last kid who will be starting High School this year.
I am so very passionate about teaching that I even spend much of my free time in volunteer work teaching others. My goal is to instill in my students a lifelong love of learning.
In fact I believe in learning so much that I am always involved continuing education myself, whether it be in foreign language, improving my teaching techniques and even weekly public speaking classes.
