I will use google sides to present the information. First, I will introduce columns, rows and arrays. I will show pictures of where we see arrays in the real world and students will have a chance to share other real world examples. Next, I will demonstrate how to solve various multiplication and multiplication word problems using arrays. Afterwards, I will show various multiplication facts & multiplication word problems and students will use their stickers to create arrays to match the problem. Students will be able to share their sticker arrays through out the class. At the end of class students will play an array game on "Bamboozle.com". Students do not need to know their multiplication facts to take this class, but they should know how to count to 100 and add on a second grade level.
