Hello! In this one-time class your learner will help me create several multiplication word problems. I use Google Slides in all of my classes to help visually express the ideas being taught. I can't wait to see what we create.

Description
Class Experience
Many students struggle with the difference between a multiplication word problem and an addition word problem. My goal is to help them understand the difference by listening for buzz words such as “each”. Students will have an opportunity to make up their own multiplication word problem as a way for me to check their level of understanding.
A piece of paper and pencil, or a whiteboard and marker are very handy! Your learner can help write down the problems we are solving. They can draw their own quick pictures to help illustrate the math facts we will be learning.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
