Hi, Welcome to Ms. Feifei's Mandarin lessons for 8 to 12 years old beginning learners!
In these 55mins*4 weeks lessons, we will learn:
Week 1: Hello. How are you？
Characters: 大，人
Family members.
Week 2: Counting 1-10
Characters: 一，二，三, 四
How many...
Week 3: What is your name? (Friends, I will give you your Chinese name if needed.)
Characters: 口，中
I like to eat...
Week 4: How old are you?
My...This class is taught in English.
Learners will learn how to do greetings, self-introductions in Chinese Mandarin by the end of the section. They will also learn how to count from 1-10. How to pronounce-write 9 Chinese characters and their meanings. Besides that, I will also Involve animals’ names( cat, dog, horse, etc.), foods, family members, etc., in our lessons.
I will send out 10-15 minutes of homework after each lesson. I will also send out a youtube playlist that includes songs and videos related to lessons to help our learners to grind ears.
Papers and Markers
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
A certificate will be sent out during our graduation party.
1 hour per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
