This ongoing, engaging and multi-sensory reading, spelling and writing class utilizes Science of Reading, body kinesthetic and Orton-Gillingham approaches to improve literacy, sentence mechanics and even handwriting. This research-backed course is especially beneficial to dyslexic, dysgraphic or struggling students.

3 files available upon enrollmentMagnetic board with letters: https://amzn.to/3qB6U1g or https://amzn.to/32ew6zV A strip of glitter tape (can be found at craft stores like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby): https://amzn.to/2WjwoBA *Note: Due to students who may wish to tap on their screen during class to assist their learning, this particular class is best accessed via a computer/laptop/chromebook rather than a tablet/phone if families have the option* The last few minutes of class will be an interactive game between students. Students may need support the last 8-6 minutes of class getting set up with the game initially by clicking the link I’ll provide in the chat. They should play the game independently once they’re signed up. They do not need an account or login. I will provide the game code live in the zoom chat when it’s time to play.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
1 hour 40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
