Class Experience

*Begin enrollment any week, and your child won't be behind.

English has 26 letters and 45 sounds. If your child doesn't know these sounds and how to spell them, they will have to memorize thousands of sight words. In this ongoing phonics class students will practice tricky letter pairs like OO, AI, AU, EA, ED, IGH, TH, PH, KN, and WR.

Students blend letters to read and spell words with phonics and games.

I offer worksheets for each phonics sound, available for download after class. Parents can print these worksheets for more practice. In addition, I offer flashcards for students to collect from class to class.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
