In this multi-day class students will learn the steps of long division.
Class experience
US Grade 4 - 6
*Students should already know their basic multiplication and division facts before signing up for this class. In this class we will talk about the steps to solve long division equations. Week 1: We will warm up by reviewing basic multiplication facts. We will then learn and practice the steps to multiplying a two digit number by a one digit number. We will also learn the steps and practice how to multiply 2 digits times 2 digits. Week 2: We will warm up by reviewing multiplying 2 digits...
Students will need paper and pencil or white board and marker for each class.
This class will go at the pace of the students. If more time is needed on one lesson we will continue to practice until the students understand and we are able to move on. If students quickly understand one lesson we will move on to the next lesson faster.
