Description

Class Experience

This is the 12 week class. Students will be taught the basics of writing by using their imagination. Silly starters will help the students start writing a paragraph. This course is designed to learn how to write an effective paragraph.  We will have open discussions on what it means to write an effective paragraph. For example, sentence structure, topic sentences, supporting details and a conclusion. 

Students have much to write. They have a wealth of information, whether it is from small...

* Students will be able to use their imagination and create a complete paragraph.
* Students will be able to correctly spell and use grammar techniques
* Students will broaden their sentence structures into more complex and compound sentences. 
* Students will be able to effectively take one class or multiple classes. 
* Students will have fun and guide the course. The teacher is a facilitator. 
* Students will be able to have open discussion.

I do not plan on assigning homework unless the students do not finish in class.

The students will be assessed on their writing. Sentence structure, spelling, and grammar will be assessed. Information will be discussed with each student.

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
