Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 7
This class will be 1 - 30 minute 1 on 1 tutoring session with your student each week. The content covered will be based on your student's grade level, and current math coursework they are learning and working on. I will review current topics that your student is covering in their math curriculum, as well as provide practice testing style questions, and assist them with checking or completing any non graded assignments as needed. This course is designed mostly for students in K - 7th grade that need support with current mathematics coursework. The teacher should be contacted at least 24 hours before each session, to discuss the content and assignments that the students wish to cover. I will be sure to have materials and practice questions prepared to make the most of your student's time.

I will can assist your student in topics such as counting, number sense, comparing numbers, geometry and shapes, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, using formulas, solving equations, and other grade specific content. Students may choose to work on coursework from class, or I can provide example problems and extension questions for extra practice. Students will get further review for upcoming topics, and have the opportunity to ask questions and work out problems on the screen with support, modeling, and guidance from the teacher. On screen word problems, games, virtual manipulatives, and worksheets may be used to support learning.
