Each week we will be covering three chapters while learning how to think more deeply using the Depth and Complexity Icons. PART ONE: Week One: chapters One through three Week Two: chapters Four through Six Week Three: chapters seven through nine Week Four: chapters ten through twelve PART TWO: Week Five: chapters thirteen through fifteen Week Six: chapters sixteen through eighteen Week Seven: chapters nineteen through twenty Week Eight: The students will select an ungraded, optional final project that will help them to gain ownership and show their understanding of the story or a topic that is covered in the book, Mr. Poppers Penguins by Richard and Florence Atwater about a family of penguins who live in a home with the Mr. Popper.
