In this special edition class, speedcubers gather to compete in a 3 x3 Rubik's cube competition. In the end, one will be awarded the title of Outschool's Fastest Cuber! Let the games begin!

Cubers of Outschool! Let us join forces in an epic battle of speed-cubing greatness! In this end-of-summer special edition class, past students will compete to determine who the fastest speedcuber of all is! Students will briefly introduce themselves at the start of the class. Then together we will do 3 rounds of cubing while Ms. V records the time it takes students to solve their cube. Ms. V will donate the class proceeds on behalf of the winning student to the charity of their choice or $25 (whichever is greater). a. Animals: ASPCA b. Environment: Conservation International c. Education: Step Up for Students P.S. If you don't want to compete that's okay, you're welcome to watch. The more the merrier!
Learning Goals
Students will practice their speedcubing technique in a competitive setting for a good cause. Together we can show our children to follow their passions and give them an opportunity to have a positive impact on their world.

Supply List
A speed cube or a standard Rubrik's cube. Speed cubes are better as we learned during our time together.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Hi, I'm Ms. V,
I am a licensed STEM teacher in New York. My goal is to raise the next generation of scientists and problem-solvers. I do this by creating fun, science-based classes here on Outschool.
In the age of learning standards, educational buzz words, and the push towards standardized testing, many modern teachers overlooked one critical detail—children are just miniature humans! Like you and me! They have the same desires and needs that we do.
They want to feel heard, they want to know that someone is cheering for them on the sidelines and they want someone to take the time to get to know them.
My creative, passion-fueled STEM (buzz word) classes are designed to do that precise thing. I start EVERY lesson asking my students about who they are, where they live, and what they love.

I have a hairless cat named Kerrigan that knows how to use the toilet. She can even flush it when she is done!
A 5-year-old taught me how to solve a Rubik's cube, now I teach a very successful Rubik's cube class for age 5-18 here on Outschool.Reviews
