US Grade Kindergarten
Our class structure is as follows: We meet Monday through Friday, 50 minutes a day. We begin with a Greeting, Morning Meeting, Weather and Calendar, Math and Language Skill exercises. Afterwards, we transition to a movement, music, and/or story break, and finish the class with a theme related activity that is hands on or digital based ( that serves as half of the class session); and at the end we sing Goodbye. This class is set up as a virtual preschool classroom and follows a traditional classroom learning style. I guide the class as a teacher, and the students interact with myself and one another through social interactions, hands-on materials (instructions given by the teacher and materials provided by the parent), and digital resources. My teaching style is allowing the students to learn and explore through guided questions and answers, sensory play, and language / concept development. Learners will interact through Group Discussions, Songs and Stories, Group Activities, Digital Resources, and Hands on Activities. Parents will prepare for Hands on Activities with provided directions / suggested materials given from the teacher prior to the start of the class. No, previous experience or knowledge is required, and students can join us at any time during the year.
