Hi! I’m Dee. Welcome to my study hive!

I’ve always had a flare for the dramatic and a love for reading. When I was younger, I enjoyed competing in storytelling competitions through my school’s speech & debate team. In this class, we will apply those same skills to help young readers build upon their existing foundational reading skills as we grow into more fluent readers, working on word recognition and phonics while practicing using proper intonation, feeling, and rhythm through fun and...

Students will improve their phonemic awareness, ability to identify sight words. We will practice reading with proper feeling, intonation, and rhythm and close with a discussion about the story to check for reading comprehension.

I have been an online English teacher for 4 years! When I was younger, I was a competitive story teller at the regional level. I love performing in community theater and performed in their summer musical theater series for over 4 years.
