Your child will: * Learn several reading strategies and how to apply them. * Gain an understanding of the story through comprehension questions. * Learn sight words * Practice fluency, vocabulary and phonic awareness. * Practice turn taking, listening skills, patience and social awareness. * Learn writing organization, sentence structure, punctuation.
Please bring a piece of paper, pencil and coloured pencils to class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
