I teach Special Education, English Language Arts, Social Skills, Behavior management, Crochet and Beadwork. I have experience working in classrooms at all grade levels and in subject areas. I have a passion and unquenchable thirst for knowledge and education and love to share that with kids of all ages.
I truly believe that knowledge is power and strength, and want every child to have the opportunity to increase their ability to control their own future. I believe that all children can achieve success it's just a matter of them having the support in the learning process, to believe in themselves and the infinite possibilities that are open to them.
I grew up off grid, with no power or running water. After I married my husband we built our first home together using only hand tools. I am a published poet who had my first poem published when I was thirteen and received multiple awards for my poetry as a young adult.
At a very young age, I learned to crochet and bead and have had a lifelong passion for both of these crafts as well as other forms of fiber art. I have sold my crafts for a profit in bazaars, online and in specialty markets for around 20 years and absolutely LOVE sharing this gift with others as well as teaching a new generations these art forms.
