Who knew you could have so much fun with parts of speech and vocabulary words? In this class students will increase their vocabulary by brainstorming nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs to create hilarious stories.

Intermediate Level
In this class students will be able to practice their understanding of the different parts of speech; adjectives, adverbs, nouns, and verbs. Here's what the class will look like: *Welcome *Short Game: Rebus Puzzle *Brainstorm words for the story. We will use a list of example words to choose from and words we generate as a class. *Read the Mad Lib: We will read and react to the story as a class *Repeat (Optional): If time allows we will repeat with other Mad Lib stories. *Discussion: Which story was the funniest, dumbest, weirdest, craziest, etc. Every class uses a different Mad Lib story. Students can sign up for one or multiple classes. My teaching style is fun and engaging. Learners are treated with smiles, laughter and encouraging words. Parental Guidance
In this class, I will stress that the vocabulary used, be classroom and age appropriate at all times.
Pre-Requisites
Students need to have an understanding of the "parts of speech". For example: nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, etc.
Supply List
Student may use dictionaries and/or thesaurus in class to generate words for the Mad Lib stories.
