Class Experience
Students will improve their writing ability through the practice of English skills and by writing different types of essays.
There are no sensitive or high risk topics being discussed.
Homework will be occasional. As described above, students may have homework on days that we write full essays.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Learners will be assessed through observation and written essays submitted.
35 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
There will be no sensitive topics discussed. All essay topics chosen by the students will be approved by the parents before any writing or research occurs. Students will need to be able to share their screen with me during some classes so that together we can evaluate their writing. As well as using screen share, students should use google docs when typing essays. Kahoot will also be used during some sessions of this class as a way to review materials. Students will not need an account to access Kahoot.
