Students will improve their knowledge of the functions of government and become more informed citizens.
I have been teaching social studies and government for 5 years and the middle school and high school levels. I am very passionate about students understanding government because it is such an important topic for them when becoming adults. I strive in helping students become well rounded citizens who understand how their government should work at every level.
Homework Offered
Homework will be given upon request. Students can bring homework to the next class to discuss or they may email their answers to be assessed. No official grades will be given. Homework will be given as a way to practice the skills they learned in that class.Assessments Offered
There may be some period assessments for students to take home to evaluate the class and the retention rate of the students. No formal grades will be given out. These assessments are not required for students but would be helpful for student and teacher.Grades Offered
