Beginner - Intermediate Level
In this middle school geography class, students will learn about the different geographical features and different parts of the world. Students will learn about the mountain ranges, rivers, lakes, and population of several places across the world. This class is designed to help students understand where they are in the world and how diverse the world is. In this class students will be presented the information using lecture, note taking, and visuals presented in the video. Students will also have 2-3 assignments per week to help with understanding and mastery of the topic. These assignments will range from quick worksheets to interactive projects! Along with the lecture video and assignments, I will post a learning game each week to help students remember the important material. Often times the questions used in the game will be similar to the questions on the final exam. I will be giving grades for each assignment. When an assignment is graded, I will provide the score as well as written feedback to help the student on the next assignment. Weekly Schedule: Week 1 Monday- Lecture Video Lesson 1 posted Tuesday- Assignment 1 posted Thursday- Assignment 2 posted Friday- Learning game posted Saturday- Grades will be released. Wednesday will be check in days. Meaning, I will message each learner to see how they are getting along with the material. This would be the time for learners to ask questions or request help on assignments. In addition, I always want to encourage learners communicating with me on any day that they need assistance.
