During this on-going tutoring sessions I will be focusing on the learners needs and goals for reading. Since this is tutoring, not every child needs the same help. With that being said, I would do an evaluation on the student and then the student and I can make goals together about what they can improve on. I love being a reading tutor. I have both public school and Outschool reading tutoring experience. I taught middle school reading for two years and I have also been teaching on Outschool for over a year now. I think reading is the most important subject because it is the foundation for every other subject in education. I strongly believe reading is the gateway to success and that is why I offer reading classes.
Homework Offered
There will be no mandatory homework for this class. However, students will improve faster if they practice what they have learned, in between class meetings.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
