We will explore basic preschool concepts together to prepare children for future success in kindergarten. I am a very hands on teacher because I typically learn best through doing! I believe play is a child's work and that their natural curiosity makes learning an adventure. I am available to help as much as parents need so never hesitant to reach out to me! We will be creating a preschool journal in a composition notebook to record the milestones and successes of your little one throughout their time in Mrs kayla's preschool! Let the journey begin!!!!!

A composition notebook Crayons Pencils Glue sticks Glitter glue Scissors Tape Paint and brushes Dot painters( aka bingo dabbers are recommended) Printer and ink/paper for occasional worksheets Plain art paper white Construction paper Craft supplies Play dough and modelling clay Highlighter Small items to count( shells, buttons, poker chips, mini erasers, tiny animals, beans anything you have on hand) 2-3 trays( prefer metal cookie sheets) Magnetic alphabet and numbers 1 dish pan or small rubber maid shoe box Bag of rice Bag of dry beans Assorted stickers Most items can be found at the local dollar tree stores!
