In this one time class fun class that mixes social time with learning, Mr. Whiskers will tell some fun, Thanksgiving food and turkey jokes, play a math game and help young learners practice reading by singing some songs. One of his favorite holidays is Thanksgiving and he wants to celebrate it with his favorite learners. We will play a simple math game with dice, sing some silly Thanksgiving songs, and listen to some jokes while celebrating this special holiday. This is a fun, interactive one time class best enjoyed by learners who have previously been introduced to Mr. Whiskers, however, all learners will enjoy it!

Parental Guidance
Students who have taken my classes before have enjoyed Mr. Whiskers so much that I decided to make a class revolving around him. This class is a fun, yet somewhat educational class where Mr. Whiskers will play a math game with them, tell jokes related to the turkey, Thanksgiving food, etc. and teach them some silly songs. No jokes or songs will involve Native Americans or be racially related in any way. The songs are about family time around the Thanksgiving table and the food we enjoy. An example of a joke Mr. Whiskers will tell is: Why did the band hire the turkey as the drummer? Because he had the drumsticks. At the end of class, if time permits, each child will be given an opportunity to tell something for which they are thankful. Of course, if your child has met Mr. Whiskers, they know he is thankful for cheese!
Supply List
One printout out will be provided and learners will need a number die. If you do not have dice, I will be able to provide a paper one that you will be able to assemble. Please let me know before class.
