In this 5-week multi-day class, students will have the opportunity to read about Mr. Lemoncello and his very first game. Students will use higher-order thinking skills in order to solve challenges, expand their vocabulary, and make text-to-self connections. - Students will be using higher-order thinking skills in order to respond to challenges and open-ended questions related to the story Mr. Lemoncello's Very First Game. They will also be improving skills related to responding to literature during this class.
I have been a teacher in brick-and-mortar schools for 30 years. During this time, I taught reading and hosted book clubs as both a teacher and a Library Media Specialist. The book does contain the theme of bullying. I am qualified to teach this theme as I am certified as a teacher of children with Emotional and Behavior Disorders. I spent the majority of my 30-year career teaching in this field.

Homework

Children may use Audible or read with an adult for the completion of the reading passages. Depending on your child’s rate of reading, homework should take between 1-2 hours per week outside of class.Assessment
