The learning goals for this course will be to teach the student about the RQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) that help gather intelligence and find, track, and stop terrorists. This class will look at the history of the RPA in the U.S. Air Force and how they were developed and continue to be used today. The focus will be on how they operate and help conduct both conventional and special operations and how they are used around the world. There will be an attached note taking document with pictures to help the student learn and retain the information in this course. There is also a video comparing the RQ-1 to the RQ-9 and the advancements in RPA technology. The desire of the teacher is to engage the students with questions and dialogue to help them further learn the material and answer questions. There will be no assigned home work in this class and the teaching style will be lecture via power point material with a few questions asked of the students.
