Learning Targets I will be able to define the term "Easter Eggs". I will be able to discuss where "Easter Eggs" are located in Disney Films. Activities * We will start the class by learning about definition and the history of an "Easter Egg." * Students will be given time to share where they have seen "Eggs" and ask their classmates questions. * The class will be mostly student-led. In my previous Disney classes students have been so excited to stay after class and discuss "Hidden Mickeys" and there is so much value in building discussion skills! * After students have shared, the teacher will provide a list of proven tips as to how to spot an "Easter Egg" and some of my most favorite "Eggs" will be shown via pictures and video clips. * Students will then be given a collaborative challenge to spot Easter Eggs in a variety of different images/ clips.
Learning Goals
While this is classified as a social class, as a teacher I am continually looking for every opportunity possible to infuse "teachable moments".
