Students will be able to structure a story by using a story mountain and Pixar's Storytelling Rules. Students will be able to summarize their stories by fitting them to one-page.
Homework Offered
We will attempt to complete all writing in this class. Learners will submit their writing for feedback and have the option to continue working on their story on their own or in any of my writing courses.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Learners will be given feedback as students develop each part of their story. Grades will be given upon request.Grades Offered
As a certified special education teacher, I know how to create classes that are supportive and engaging for neurodiverse learners.
Learners will want to have a notebook of their writing nearby to help with idea generation.
Learners should be prepared to use either a dedicated movie maker notebook, or a word processing program such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
