Some of the movies touch on difficult and upsetting issues. For example Annie is about an orphan who lives in an orphanage run by a drunk. The Sound of Music is set during the Second World War and the family are chased by the German army. Jungle Book features some violence. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang has a scary character that kidnaps children. Please check out commonsensemedia.org if you are not familiar with any of these films and are concerned they may not be suitable for your child.
