Class Experience
Hello, I'm Mr. Adams and I will be teaching a ELAR course. In this class students should expect to master concepts to help them individually succeed in their reading abilities. The structure of this class will be an interactive course that will get students involved in a unique way of learning that will help each student master the concept of plot diagrams in fictional stories. This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of plot diagrams. We will look at key vocabulary words that are part of plots such as exposition, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution.
I attended college at A&M Commerce and I have a bachelor's degree in business and general studies. I have been teaching 4th-8th ELAR for 5 years now. I started off as an aid/substitute for a district while I was still attending school to get my bachelors degree so altogether I have 9 years of experience in the field.
Watch the assigned film for the week.
We will have a group activity using blooket.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
During this class we will be using two platforms, Kahoot and Blooket, to answer plot questions over the assigned movie. Students don't need an account to participate. Students will be provided with an access code to be entered into the website.
We will use Kahoot and Blooket.
