Description

Class Experience

Students will transform their Disney Princess into each genre.
Students will analyze character archetypes from different movie genres.
Students will create a (loose) story line of a movie for their character to be in.
I have dabbled in costume design for years, mostly for theater, and I love to look at costume design for all mediums. I've taught this many times in my studio and am excited to bring it to Outschool.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Though some of the movies listed may be PG 13 or R, we will only be looking at character costumes and not scenes that may be questionable to children. 
Students will design on a croquis, which is a nude female form.
