Class Experience

***This class is part of the Movie Bites Learning - Young Storytellers and Aspiring Moviemakers Series. These classes can be taken in any order and are designed to celebrate and encourage big imaginations. Very my full profile for details on other Movie Bites Learning classes.***

Costume designers plays an important role in making a movie and theater production memorable. These artists research, design, make, and purchase costumes and props worn by the actors. They make sure that the props and wardrobe reflect the story being told by the director and portray each character's personality, culture, age, status, and relationship.

In this class, students will learn how costume designers bring a character to life through clothing and accessories. They'll participate in storytelling exercises, a creative character scavenger hunt, and draw "preliminary sketches" for the main character of their very own story idea!
