Class Experience
Note: This section is Part 2 of a two-part camp series. Sections can be taken in any order. The focus of this section is on Directing, Acting, Costume Design, Foley Art (the magic of making Sound Effects for movies) and Props. Students will increase their understanding of storytelling, art, and film language through games, crafts and activities.
I am a parent, filmmaker and film educator with over 20 years of classroom experience. I have a BFA in Studio Art and an MFA in Film Production. Sharing my love of film and art with young, aspiring storytellers is my life's passion!
No homework is required for this course.
Supplies will be kept simple to make it easy for families to have on hand: drawing supplies, paper, pencils, pens, markers, sharpies, household items, etc.
4 hours 35 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
