This class is designed as a follow-along through observation and physical application. Dancers will practice concentration...
This class is designed to build upon the fundamentals of ballet barre work and build control through body awareness. Ballet I can be retaken as often as desired to perfect the techniques as lesson plans evolve each month. The recommended time in Ballet I is a minimum of one (1) year before advancing to Ballet II - unless assessed otherwise.
I have been studying dance for 25 years with 8 years as an educator and I'm a firm believer that ballet sets all dancers up for success! Ballet teaches dancers control, precision, and self-discipline while providing both physical fitness and mental stimulation. I love how calming and poetic this discipline is while building confident dancers for life.
Dancers are encouraged to practice their posture, stretches, and technique every day.
