Class Experience

This class is taught in English.
Students will learn to move their bodies in a variety of ways through cardio activities and body weight exercises. They will also learn about the benefits of moving their body and the about the primary muscle groups involved in each movement.
I have taught physical education to elementary age students for the last 10 years in a variety of capacities as part of my teaching career. I also have a certificate in teaching yoga to kids.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Safety and privacy are our top priorities. This class involves physical movements that could have potential hazards including, but not limited to, injuries to muscles, joints or tendons can occur if students are not properly stretched (which we will do during class) or are not listening to the instructions provided. Students will also require an open space to practice in to allow for safe movement, indoor running shoes or trainers if needed, and access to a water bottle if needed. It is also important that students wear comfy but well fitting clothing. Clothing that is too tight can cut off blood circulation to specific body parts. Clothing that is too loose can get in the way and cause falls or injuries.
