Class Experience The 25 minutes will be structured as such: Welcome & Stretch: Welcome song, introduce our names, and favourite princess. We will stretch to loosen up and do jumping jacks to get our hearts beating. Please bring water! We will get thirsty and talk about the importance of drinking water and staying hydrated to keep us healthy. Students will become physically active during this class by dancing to music. Students will learn new songs and their actions that they can teach their families and friends. Students will learn the importance of staying active and eating healthy. Students will be given the opportunity to have discussion with peers and make healthy snack decisions based on their own likes and dislikes.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please ensure your learner has water to drink, comfortable footwear, and adequate space to dance. Injury may occur during gross motor activities.
