Mothers mean the world to their children! In this one time directed drawing art class, students will be spotlighted and share why they love their mother so much! Then, students will listen to the amazing book called “Superhero Mom,” by Timothy Knapman. Next, they will learn how draw their own mom as a Superhero in a step by step, interactive, directed drawing lesson. Finally, we will color our unique creations a little while listening to inspirational music about Moms....just in time for Mother’s Day!

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in Children and the Arts. I also have my Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD emphasis.
I have three amazing kids of my own, who range in age from 10 to 19. My husband and I love to travel with our kids and make fun memories together. Trips to the beach are my favorite!
I plan to teach a variety of lessons that incorporate music, movement, art, reading and writing to reach all types of learners.
